Ship History
Two years after her construction, Snow Bunting participated in the Dunkirk evacuation. Following this, she served as a patrol boat in the Solent.
After the war, her first post-war owner acquired the vessel in a derelict state. Restoration required hundreds of hours of work and significant financial investment to prepare her for crossing the English Channel and navigating the French canals.
In the 1990s, Snow Bunting was owned by V.S. North, who lived aboard with his cat, which reportedly jumped ship when the engines were started.
As of April 2018, no further information regarding the vessel's history or whereabouts has been documented. It is now believed that Snow Bunting has been broken up.
